A family from Corrientes, Argentina, faced tragedy during their vacation in Brazil when a car crash led to the death of 39-year-old Mayra Cardozo and severe injuries to her two teenage daughters, Valentina and Martina. The incident occurred on BR 282 near Santo Amaro do Imperatriz, approximately 40 kilometers from Florianópolis, and triggered a large response from the Brazilian police and rescue teams, including a helicopter.
