Henry Sildaru did not qualify for Big Air

Henry Sildaru was unable to progress past the qualification round in the men's Big Air event at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.

Henry Sildaru competed in the men's Big Air qualification round as a part of the freestyle skiing program at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. Unfortunately, he could not manage to qualify for the finals after completing three jumps, securing points of 17, 42, and 80 respectively for the jumps. His total score of 122 placed him 22nd out of 29 participants, a disappointment for the young athlete.

In the competition, held on Sunday, Sildaru's final jump was his best, but by that point, his chances for advancement had already diminished. The qualification round was won by American skier Mac Forehand with a score of 183 points, followed closely by Austrian Matej Svancer and Norwegian Birk Ruud. The final spot in the competition went to American Konnor Ralph, who scored 171.75 points.

Sildaru, only 19 years old, expressed disappointment following his Olympic debut due to not progressing further in the park qualification round. His challenges in both events highlight the intense competition faced at such a high level of skiing and the need for consistent performance to advance in Olympic competitions.
