Last season, he achieved finishes of 12th and 17th in World Cup events, but notably secured a 6th place in the World Championships, highlighting his potential and skill in freestyle skiing. This event marks the third discipline for Sildaru in these Olympics, following his earlier performances in park skiing and Big Air, where he finished 21st and 22nd respectively. The competition features Finley Melville from New Zealand as a key favorite, as he will be the first to descend the slope, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting qualification round.
