The Civil Police reported that images from the scene showed one of the vehicles severely crumpled, highlighting the violent nature of the crash. Among those in one of the vehicles were four individuals, including a two-year-old child, who succumbed to injuries while being transported to a local urgent care facility, the UPA de Xinguara. Another woman also died during the emergency response efforts.

The other vehicle involved in the collision had four occupants as well, including a man, a woman, and two teenagers. The passenger in the front seat of this car died instantly at the scene, while the teenagers were safely rescued and taken to the UPA de Xinguara for medical observation. Fortunately, both drivers from the incident only sustained minor injuries and are reported to be in good condition. The investigation into the causes of the accident is currently underway by the Civil Police.
