Meteorologists in Lithuania report significant snowfall and icy conditions across various regions, with Panevėžys recording the highest precipitation.

Meteorologists in Lithuania have reported on the extreme weather conditions experienced in the country, noting a mix of precipitation that included snow, sleet, and rain on Friday. In the northern parts of Lithuania, heavy snowfall was observed along with blizzards, while some areas witnessed freezing rain and the formation of black ice. The temperatures during this period fluctuated from freezing to slightly above, with nighttime lows dropping substantially to between -7 to -13 degrees Celsius, particularly in northern regions.

The heaviest snowfall was documented in municipalities such as Panevėžys, where 14.1 mm of precipitation fell, translating to significant snow accumulation, followed closely by Jonava, Rokiškis, and Pakruojis.
