Wizz Air has also announced the addition of an eighth aircraft to its Katowice base and the introduction of a new connection, signaling further growth and expansion plans for the airport. Additionally, there were 3,095 take-offs and landings recorded, an increase of 90 or 3% compared to the same period last year, which highlights the overall upward trend in air travel activity at Katowice Airport, further establishing it as a key aviation hub in the region.
