February 2026 proved to be a remarkable month for Chopin Airport, as passenger numbers soared to a total of 1,695,037, reflecting an impressive 8.5% increase compared to February 2025. This surge in activity was highlighted by a record day on February 13, when 69,331 travelers were processed, showcasing the airport's growing popularity and efficiency.

Throughout the month, the airport conducted 13,350 passenger operations and a total of 14,361 flights, underscoring the robust demand for air travel in the region. From the start of the year, Chopin Airport catered to 3,443,228 travelers, marking a notable 10.2% increase over the same period last year, showcasing a steady recovery in air travel amidst the evolving landscape of global mobility.

The majority of passengers—93%—opted for international travel, with nearly two-thirds heading to countries within the Schengen Area, amounting to 2,223,837 travelers.
