Yoo Seung-eun, an 18-year-old athlete from Seongbok High School, made history by becoming the first Korean female to stand on the Olympic podium in skiing and snowboarding, securing a bronze medal in the women’s big air event at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. In an interview following her achievement at the Livigno Snowpark in Italy, Yoo reflected on her challenging road to this moment, stating that the experience instilled in her the confidence to overcome future adversities. During the final round, Yoo earned a score of 171 points, finishing third behind Japan's Kokomo Murase and New Zealand's Zoi Sadowski-Synnott.
