A 17-year-old girl was apprehended in Barra do Piraí, Rio de Janeiro, after police discovered more than 3 kg of cocaine in a property identified as a drug storage facility. This operation took place on the night of Sunday, January 8, when police executed a search following intelligence that pointed to the house being used for trafficking activities. Alongside the cocaine, the police seized several other drug-related items, indicating a well-operating trafficking setup.

At the scene, police also discovered nearly six liters of loló, a type of inhalant, along with precision scales, drug packaging materials, and labels linked to a criminal organization. The estimated financial impact of this seizure on the drug trafficking operations is significant, highlighting the ongoing challenges law enforcement faces in combating drug-related crimes in this region.
