Alutaguse Marathon won by Kilp and Mannima

Marko Kilp and Tatjana Mannima claimed victory at the Alutaguse marathon, with Kilp finishing first among men and Mannima among women.

At the Alutaguse marathon held as part of the Estoloppet series, Marko Kilp and Tatjana Mannima emerged victorious in their respective categories. Kilp, competing in the men's 45-kilometer classic distance, secured a closely contested victory with a time of 2:00.09, alongside last year's champion Henri Roos and Raido Ränkel who also finished at the same time but lost in the sprint finish. The competition was fierce, highlighting Kilp's strong performance while Ralf Kivil came in sixth, significantly lagging behind the leading group.

In the women's race, Tatjana Mannima finished 46th overall, showcasing her competitiveness within the field. Merilin Jürisaar took second place, and Aveli Juursalu finished third, underscoring the depth of talent in the women’s race. The event saw a total of 539 competitors across the two distances, with a successful completion rate of 413 for the main marathon distance and 126 for the shorter 24 kilometers, indicating high participation and engagement in skiing sports among the local community.
