This year's Alutaguse marathon, part of the Estoloppet series, saw Marko Kilp and Tatjana Mannima taking the top spots in their respective categories. The competition was fierce, with Ralf Kivil, finishing in sixth place, lagging behind by more than four minutes from the leader.

On the women's side, Tatjana Mannima not only secured victory but also placed an impressive 46th overall in the mixed rankings. Her closest rivals, Merilin Jürisaar and Aveli Juursalu, took second and third place respectively, showcasing strong performances in a competitive field. Overall, the event attracted more than 400 skiers, demonstrating the popularity and growing participation in such winter sports activities.

Looking ahead, the next significant event in Estonia is the Tartu marathon scheduled for the upcoming weekend, which promises to attract even more athletes and fans, building upon the momentum generated by the Alutaguse marathon. As these marathons promote not only competitive skiing but also tourism and local engagement, they are integral to the Estonian winter sports landscape.
