Uberlândia is offering 810 free technology and innovation courses for young people and seniors starting April 1st.

The city of Uberlândia in Brazil is launching an initiative to provide 810 spots for free courses aimed at young individuals aged 16 and above and seniors aged 60 and above, particularly those from families earning up to three minimum wages. The courses will cover essential contemporary skills in technology and innovation, including Application Development and Agile Methodologies with AI, reflecting the current trends in the industry. The program is set to begin on April 1, with the intention to equip participants with valuable skills for the job market. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply promptly as registration will close once all spots are filled. Training sessions will take place at the newly inaugurated Advanced Technology Professional Center (Udi Tech) in Uberlândia. The Advanced Technology Professional Center is operated by the Uberlândia City Hall through its Municipal Department of Social Development and will collaborate with the Chamber of Retail Leaders (CDL) and the National Industrial Learning Service. This initiative not only aims to enhance individual skillsets but also supports the local workforce in adapting to evolving industry requirements, making it a significant step towards community development and economic growth in the region.
