Praia Grande starts the exchange of solidarity tickets for the Paixão de Cristo show; see what to do

The city of Praia Grande in Brazil is initiating a charitable ticket exchange for the theatrical production 'Paixão de Cristo', where tickets can be obtained by donating children's hygiene products.

The Praia Grande city government, located in São Paulo's coastal region, has announced the beginning of a solidarity ticket exchange program for the theatrical performance 'Paixão de Cristo - O Musical: Mensagem'. Starting on March 23, 2023, residents can exchange personal hygiene items for tickets to the show, which will be held from April 1 to April 4. A total of 2,000 tickets are available through this initiative, designed to encourage charitable giving while promoting the cultural event.

To participate in the ticket exchange, individuals must donate children's hygiene products, with specific guidelines for what constitutes an equivalent donation. For instance, one bar of soap can be traded for one ticket, while a toothbrush or toothpaste can be exchanged for two tickets. Each person may exchange up to four tickets in total, fostering community involvement and support for local charities. The collected items will benefit the Municipal Social Solidarity Fund, demonstrating the city's commitment to both cultural engagement and social responsibility.

The ticket exchanges will be conducted at the Palácio das Artes, situated in the Boqueirão neighborhood. The available hours for ticket exchange are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and this opportunity will continue until all tickets are claimed. This initiative not only makes cultural experiences more accessible but also assists in providing necessary hygiene products to children in need, exemplifying a community-oriented approach to public events.
