On Saturday afternoon, a load of glass fell from a trailer on the Presidente Dutra highway at kilometer 158 towards São Paulo, which led to severe traffic disruptions. The incident occurred around 2:50 PM, necessitating the closure of two lanes by the highway's operational control center to facilitate the removal of the glass and clear the roadway. As a result, traffic jams extended up to five kilometers in length. Fortunately, the concessionaire RioSP confirmed that there were no reported injuries or casualties resulting from this incident, though it caused significant delays for drivers in the area.
