More than 200 professionals are called to work in the state network of Piauí
The state of Piauí has called 218 professionals to enhance the teaching and administrative staff in public schools as part of an initiative to strengthen integrated full-time high school and technical education.
The state of Piauí in Brazil has announced the recruitment of 218 professionals to bolster its public education system, as disclosed by the Secretary of State for Education (Seduc) on Thursday, the 19th. This initiative aims to enhance the availability of integrated full-time high school education along with professional, technical, and technological education across the state, addressing the educational demand of various municipalities.
These professionals will be distributed across 63 municipalities, significantly improving the pedagogical and operational framework of local schools. The 9th round of convocations is in relation to the Seduc/GSE N° 40/2025 Notice, which includes 205 professionals categorized as substitute teachers with varying levels of education, alongside 13 additional professionals from the 20th convocational round for teachers with complete higher education.
The temporary nature of these appointments highlights the state’s ongoing efforts to address educational needs effectively. This recruitment not only aims to fill existing gaps but also to support the state's broader goal of improving the quality and accessibility of education for its residents in a time when educational demands are ever-increasing.
