These are the jobs that will involve closures on Rodolfo Baquerizo Nazur Avenue, in La Alborada, starting March 20

Construction work on Rodolfo Baquerizo Nazur Avenue in La Alborada will close one lane starting March 20 due to a reconstruction plan by the Guayaquil Municipality.

Starting March 20, reconstruction work on Rodolfo Baquerizo Nazur Avenue in the La Alborada sector of Guayaquil will necessitate the closure of one lane. This construction will affect the stretch between José María Egas and Agustín Freire avenues in northern Guayaquil. The project is part of an integral reconstruction plan supported by the Guayaquil Municipality through the Public Works Directorate.

The investment for this project amounts to $3.9 million and is expected to benefit over 8,000 residents while improving the flow for approximately 56,000 vehicles that use this route daily. During the first phase of the project, the south-to-north lane will be closed for five months, followed by work on the opposite lane (north-to-south) for an estimated six months.

The Transit and Mobility Agency (ATM) has announced that details regarding the traffic plan will be communicated through its official channels to keep residents and road users informed about the changes and ensure a smooth transition during the construction period. The overall goal is to enhance infrastructure while minimizing disruption to the daily transport of the community.
