On Thursday, the Civil Police in Brazil kicked off another phase of the 'Operation Critical Point,' mobilizing teams across different regions of Pará. This operation is the fifth stage of the ongoing offensive against organized crime, with a key focus on executing judicial warrants and intensifying the state's fight against criminality. According to delegate Raíssa Beleboni, this is the first operation of the year aimed at increasing public safety by bringing individuals with legal issues into custody.
Delegate Jamil Casseb elaborated that the current operation aims to systematically combat organized crime and criminal factions. The overarching goal is to remove individuals with outstanding warrants from circulation while reinforcing public safety for citizens. The operation, as highlighted by Casseb and Beleboni, seeks to ensure greater tranquility for the population of Pará by holding accountable those responsible for criminal activities and bringing them to justice.
The preliminary assessments conducted prior to the operation identified numerous targets, and police teams are actively working to fulfill these warrants. This operation not only reflects a coordinated strategy to address criminal issues within the state but also showcases the ongoing commitment of law enforcement to improve safety and security in the region.
