The FUTURE IS NOW championship recently wrapped up in Zapyškys, Lithuania, featuring eight teams from different cities across the country. Each match was significant for the final standings, as the tournament format ensured that every game counted. The municipality of Kaunas played a crucial role in organizing the event, consistently investing in sports infrastructure and youth involvement. During the finals, teams were awarded by Arūnas Talalas, a representative of the Kaunas district municipality, and Dominykas Domarkas, the general secretary of the Lithuanian Basketball Association. The championship concluded with Kauno KM 'Perkūnas' taking home the championship title, while the second place was claimed by the guests from the capital, SKM II 'Euromontas,' and 'Tornado KM' secured the bronze medals. The final standings saw notable performances with teams ranked as follows: 4th place went to Šiauliai KA Saulė, 5th to Sostinės KM III, 6th to Šilutė Wolfpack, 7th to Kretingos SM, and 8th to NKA II Kaunas, showcasing a diverse range of talents from across Lithuania.
