Students Presented a Vision for the Capital's Future: Vote for the Most Interesting Idea for Vilnius

Students from various schools in Vilnius submitted their visions for the city's future, inviting public voting on the best ideas.

A recent competition in Vilnius has seen participation from high school students who presented their innovative visions for the city's future. This initiative involved students from grades 9-12 and the first four grades of gymnasiums, representing 34 different educational institutions. Notably, the Vilnius Lyceum contributed eight unique visions, alongside active submissions from Žirmūnai, Mykolas Biržiška, and Fabijoniškės gymnasiums.

From these submissions, 25 outstanding ideas were selected to advance to the final judging stage, where an esteemed panel of judges will determine the overall winners. The panel includes notable figures such as Robertas Dargis of EIKA Group, Vilnius Mayor Valdas Benkunskas, and others involved in education and innovation, illustrating an interconnected effort between youth creativity and civic leadership.

Public voting has been launched, allowing the community to engage by supporting their favorite student proposals. This initiative not only emphasizes the rapidly changing nature of Vilnius but also highlights the importance of community input in shaping the future of the city, indicating a collaborative approach to urban development.
