On October 1, 2025, the 'Media League', a new indoor football league, celebrated its opening event at the Oskara Kalpaka Hall. The first match took place on March 3, 2026, at the Iecavas Sports Hall, culminating in a dramatic final where the score was 2-1, bringing joy to the winning team. The event was marked by a festive atmosphere with music, dance performances, and a strong sense of competition among the teams and fans alike.

Throughout the season, eight teams participated in the league, engaging in a full regular season and playoff format. A total of seven rounds and numerous matches were played, highlighted by many thrilling games with last-minute twists and significant performances. The matches took place in various sports halls across Latvia, drawing local fans as well as supporters from other cities, showcasing the widespread interest in the newly established league. Additionally, the finals were streamed live, with recordings available on the 'Media League' YouTube channel.

During the regular season, teams showed resilience and determination, while the playoffs highlighted their character and adaptability in the face of challenges.
