Minerva Marine recently celebrated the naming ceremony of its latest bulk carrier, the M/V 'Minerva Sapientza', which took place in Nagasaki, Japan, several months ago. The event was attended by the company's management team, including Andreas A. Martinos and his family, marking another milestone in the expansion of Minerva's fleet.

During the ceremony, special mention was made of the fact that the General Counsel, Mrs. Katerina Iliakopoulou, had the honor of officially naming the ship. This event not only highlights the company's growth and presence in the dry bulk cargo sector but also emphasizes its commitment to significant milestones in fleet development.

The 'Minerva Sapientza', constructed in 2025 at Oshima Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Japan, adds to Minerva Dry's current fleet of 20 bulk carriers, reaffirming the company's steady and growing presence in the dry bulk industry, which is crucial for global trade and shipping logistics.
