Thiago Lacerda presents a solidarity entry piece in Teresina; see the programming of Theater Week

Actor Thiago Lacerda will perform a charitable-entry play in Teresina as part of the National Theater Week festivities.

The National Theater Week in Teresina (SeNThe) is set to take place from March 24 to 27 at Theatro 4 de Setembro and Clube dos Diários. This annual festival features a rich program including dance, music, circus, cinema, and literature performances. Notably, actor Thiago Lacerda will be showcasing his talents during this event, contributing to the cultural landscape of the city while also supporting a charitable cause.

On March 27, Lacerda will present "Quem Está Aí?" a monologue interweaving the characters of Hamlet, Angelo, and Macbeth, crafted by the renowned playwright William Shakespeare. The unique aspect of this performance is that entry will be granted with a donation of a can of powdered milk, which will go to a charity, highlighting the festival's commitment to social responsibility alongside cultural enrichment.

The programming for the week also includes children's shows such as "Os Três Porquinhos do Gran Circo Porcalhão," inspired by classic tales, and adaptations like "A Mulher que Esqueceu de Alimentar os Peixes" based on Clarice Lispector's work. Other activities such as capoeira demonstrations and music performances are scheduled, along with a theater workshop led by actress Pia on March 26 and 27, making it a comprehensive celebration of the arts.
