Carnival: 34th edition of Anunciai to be held from Sunday (14) to Tuesday (17) in Ipatinga

Ipatinga will host the 34th Anunciai event, a spiritual carnival organized by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal from February 14 to 17.

Between February 14 and 17, 2023, Ipatinga will once again welcome the 34th edition of the Anunciai - Carnival with Jesus, an event held by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (RCC) with the support of the local government. This initiative aims to provide a spiritual experience during the Carnival season, engaging attendees in prayer and celebration activities that are open to the public. The event will take place in the parking area of the main hall of Ipatingão, creating a festive environment for participants to connect with their faith amid the carnival festivities.

The theme for this year's Anunciai is 'It is He who gives everyone life' (Cf. Acts 17:25b), reflecting the event's focus on spiritual renewal and community interaction. Each day, the event will feature afternoons dedicated to a variety of groups, including young people, adolescents, and couples, as well as Anunciai Mirim, a space specifically designed for children ages 5 to 12. Daily masses will be conducted at 6 PM by several priests, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere as participants engage in religious practices throughout the carnival.

To conclude the evenings, there will be musical performances to entertain the crowd, featuring local artists such as Ariane Subtil and DJ Lucas Augusto. The Anunciai event serves as a unique blend of carnival celebration and spiritual enjoyment, fostering a community spirit amidst the more traditional carnival activities that dominate this festive time of year in Brazil.
