The Federal Police of Brazil launched "Operation Rastreio" to apprehend employees and former employees of Manaus International Airport after nearly 100 kilograms of drugs were discovered. Operating in Manaus and 14 other states, the operation targets drug and arms trafficking, organized crime factions, and money laundering. These investigations were spurred by the arrest of a Gollog employee caught with 97 kilograms of skunk marijuana in May 2025, revealing a deeper network of illegal activities at the airport.

The operation was conducted by Integrated Forces to Combat Organized Crime (FICCO), which involves a coalition of various law enforcement agencies, including civil, military, and federal police, as well as state secretariats.
