On March 17 at approximately 10:07 PM, firefighters in Vilnius responded to a call regarding a fire in an apartment building on Bokšto Street. Upon arrival, they discovered that a bed was on fire in the apartment and received reports of heavy smoke coming from a neighboring flat. Firefighters swiftly conducted a rescue operation, ensuring the safety of the occupants.

During their response, they managed to evacuate a woman from the affected apartment. She was subsequently taken outside and handed over to medical personnel, as there were concerns about smoke inhalation. The woman was then transported to a hospital for further treatment, highlighting the urgency of the situation and the effectiveness of the emergency services.

The fire resulted in damage to the bed and wardrobe within the apartment, with the walls of the flat suffering from smoke damage. An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently ongoing, emphasizing the importance of safety measures and fire prevention in residential areas.
