Univás and students from João Paulo II School collected over 13,000 liters of milk and oil for the Samuel Libânio Hospital Complex as part of a solidarity initiative.

At the beginning of the year, Univás and students from Colégio João Paulo II collaborated on the Solidarity Trot initiative aimed at collecting milk and oil for donation to the Samuel Libânio Hospital Complex (CHSL). On March 16, it was announced that the campaign successfully gathered a total of 11,382 liters of milk and 2,559 liters of oil. Notably, the Physiotherapy course contributed the most with 4,073 liters of milk, while the Advertising and Propaganda course led in oil donations with 820 liters.

The CHSL, which utilizes approximately 270 liters of milk and six liters of oil daily, will benefit significantly from this generous contribution. The Solidarity Trot event saw strong community involvement, with attendees showing enthusiasm and support for the initiative. During the event, the president of the Foundation for Higher Education of Vale do Sapucaí (FUVS) thanked everyone for their engagement and effort in making the donation possible.

Dr. Saulo Lamas, the technical director of CHSL, expressed gratitude for the support received from the students and organizers. This event highlights the power of community and collaboration among educational institutions and local organizations in addressing health and welfare needs. The action not only supports CHSL but also fosters a culture of social responsibility and solidarity among students and educators.
