Regional Hospital of Pedro Juan receives milk donations from UCP/Interamericana
Medical students from the Central University of Paraguay donated 300 liters of milk to the pediatric wing of the Regional Hospital of Pedro Juan Caballero.
A charitable initiative organized by medical students from the Central University of Paraguay (UCP) and the Inter-American University resulted in the donation of 300 liters of milk to the pediatric wing of the Regional Hospital of Pedro Juan Caballero. This hospital serves patients from across the Amambay Department in Paraguay, which borders Ponta Porã in Brazil. The action was coordinated by doctors Eron Amaral and Daniel Fagundes and involved student volunteers from the Atlética Demolidor organization.
The donation was made directly to the hospital, benefiting not only the children who are hospitalized but also their families who accompany them during treatment. This initiative emphasizes the commitment of the medical students to support their community and ensure that essential supplies are available for vulnerable children and their families in difficult situations.
Additionally, this event is part of a broader set of social activities undertaken by the students of these universities, who regularly engage in charitable campaigns aimed at helping those in need. Such initiatives highlight the important role that educational institutions and their students play in addressing community health and welfare needs.
