The 14th edition of Comida Di Buteco is taking place in São Paulo from April 10 to May 10, 2023, involving 157 bars from the city and the surrounding metropolitan area. This popular culinary contest was originally launched in Belo Horizonte in 2000 to celebrate traditional family-run bars and local cuisine, and has since expanded to include bars from various regions of Brazil.

This year’s national theme focuses on 'vegetables', an especially relevant topic for São Paulo, a state known for its high production of such food items. Participants are tasked with creating unique snacks using leaves, stems, and edible flowers, showcasing their culinary creativity and diverse preparation methods. The dishes are offered at a fixed price of R$ 40, encouraging locals and visitors alike to explore the rich variety of flavors available.
