Lina Mendoni: "Culture is a privileged area of cooperation in Greece-Moldova relations"
The Greek Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni, held discussions in Moldova to strengthen cultural ties between Greece and Moldova with various political leaders, culminating in a Memorandum of Understanding on cultural heritage preservation.
During her working visit to ChiΘinΔu, Greek Culture Minister Lina Mendoni engaged in talks with Moldova's President Maia Sandu, Parliament President Igor Grosu, and Minister of Culture Cristian Jardan, among others. The discussions emphasized the critical need to enhance cultural ties between Greece and Moldova, which are characterized by camaraderie and collaboration. Notably, Mendoni and Jardan signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at fostering the preservation, maintenance, and restoration of Moldova's cultural heritage.
