Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has recently welcomed 103 new trainees into its Vocational Innovation Business and Empowerment Scheme, highlighting its dedication to fostering skills development and sustainable economic empowerment in Nigeria. This induction, announced in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, underscores the company's continued efforts to enhance the entrepreneurial abilities of participants through structured training sessions that are aimed at equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive in their chosen business ventures.

The training program will consist of a comprehensive series of capacity-building sessions, which will eventually lead to a competitive pitching phase. During this phase, the trainees will present their business proposals, and those deemed most viable will receive support based on clear evaluation criteria. This not only facilitates the growth of individual businesses but also promotes innovation and creativity among the youth within the region, aligning with NLNG's mission to foster economic development.

In parallel, the program celebrated the success of 26 beneficiaries from the previous cohort who have now completed their training and graduated. These participants had already received grants a year prior to support their business initiatives, demonstrating the program’s long-term impact on their professional growth.
