In a tragic incident in Sabon Gyero community, located in Millennium City within the Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, gunmen suspected to be bandits launched a significant attack during the early hours of Monday. The assailants invaded the residential area, resulting in the death of one individual and the abduction of seven others, including three women and four children. The attack not only led to tragic loss of life but also involved the raiding of a phone charging center, where the gunmen shot and killed a young man named Abdullahi Lawal, who was recognized in the community for his unique standing due to being deaf and non-verbal. Lawal sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and tragically succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.
