As the highly anticipated BTS concert approaches on the 21st at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, Naver and Kakao are taking proactive measures to improve navigation for attendees, particularly the anticipated influx of foreign tourists. Kakao announced that starting from the 16th, it will trial a new service on KakaoMap, offering ultra-precise location information for approximately 420 city bus routes, excluding airport and village buses, for one week. This enhancement significantly reduces the time intervals for bus location data transmission, allowing users to track real-time bus locations more accurately. This move is expected to assist users in finding alternative routes amidst potential traffic congestion or detours.
