Two men, aged 56 and 47, were arrested on Friday in the wider Athens area for drug possession and trafficking, as reported by the Hellenic Police. The arrests were made by officers from the Drug Enforcement Sub-Directorate after the proper utilization of intelligence information that led to identifying the criminal activities of the suspects. The police actions involved detailed checks and profiling to confirm their involvement in drug-related offenses.
The 56-year-old was found in possession of a package containing 100 grams of cocaine inside a taxi, which he intended to distribute further. Additionally, the 47-year-old was caught with two packages of raw cannabis, totaling 1,120 grams, which he had acquired from the 56-year-old shortly before the arrest.
