Consumer Day: action offers services from Equatorial and Águas de Teresina; see what
A special consumer event will be held in Teresina on March 16, offering services from Equatorial Piauí and Águas de Teresina to help residents address their energy and water supply issues.
On March 16, a special consumer event will take place in Teresina in honor of Consumer Day, organized by the Public Defender's Office of the State of Piauí. This initiative aims to provide essential guidance and services related to electricity and water supply issues, enabling consumers to resolve any pending matters, clarify doubts, and access their rights. The event will run from 9 AM to 1 PM at the headquarters of the Public Defender's Office, located on Rua Nogueira Tapety, in the neighborhood of Noivos.
Representatives from Equatorial Piauí and Águas de Teresina will be present to assist consumers directly. Furthermore, the event will include a lecture titled "Precedent Policy and Consumer Rights," led by the public defender from the state of Ceará, Amélia Soares da Rocha, scheduled for 10 AM in the Esperança Garcia auditorium at the same location. This educational session will help attendees better understand their rights and the regulatory frameworks surrounding consumer protections.
This initiative reflects the growing emphasis on consumer rights and protections in Brazil, particularly in local contexts where residents often face challenges related to utility services. By providing a direct channel for resolving issues and receiving guidance, the event aims to strengthen consumer confidence and promote awareness of their rights within the community, thereby supporting informed and empowered consumer behavior.
