More than 100 free services will be offered in Teresina this weekend; see which ones
A civic event in Teresina will provide over 100 free services to the public this weekend.
This weekend, Teresina will host the seventh edition of the "Governo do Brasil na Rua" program, taking place on Friday and Saturday at the Ginásio Arena Verdão from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is open to the public without prior registration and will offer more than 100 free services contributed by both federal and state governments for the benefit of the local population. Services to be provided include INSS assessments, guidance on social programs, health services, and citizenship-related assistance.
The event's formal opening is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, and it is expected that significant political figures will attend, including Guilherme Boulos, the Minister of the Secretariat-General of the Presidency, Wellington Dias, the Minister of Social Development, Family and Combatting Hunger, and Rafael Fonteles, the Governor of Piauí. Their presence highlights the government's commitment to addressing community needs directly and fostering public engagement in key social service initiatives.
In addition to the aforementioned services, residents will also have access to veterinary services, including the implementation of identification microchips for pets, demonstrating a multifaceted approach to community welfare. Such initiatives not only aim to improve immediate access to essential services but also encourage a spirit of collaboration between governmental bodies and the public, enhancing the overall quality of life in Teresina.
