Wandering Justice: Judicial services will be offered in Teresina starting Monday (9); check it out
Judicial services including civil registration, divorce actions, and paternity recognition will be available in Teresina from March 9 to 13 as part of the Wandering Justice initiative by the Piauí Court of Justice.
The Piauí Court of Justice is launching the Wandering Justice initiative, providing critical judicial services in Teresina from March 9 through 13. This program aims to make legal services more accessible to the public by offering assistance with civil registration corrections, divorce processes, and paternity recognition at the Esplanade of the Piauí Legislative Assembly. By bringing these services to the community, the initiative seeks to streamline bureaucratic processes that some citizens find challenging to navigate.
In addition to the primary services such as civil registration, divorce, and paternity issues, other judicial tasks will include the provision of death certificates, approval of child support agreements, declarations of stable unions, and arrangements for DNA testing. The initiative is a collaborative effort involving various government entities, including the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Public Defender's Office, and the state secretariats for Public Security and Social Assistance, emphasizing a united approach to enhancing public access to legal support.
To utilize these services, individuals must provide essential documentation, including identification, proof of residence, and relevant certificates that justify their requests. This comprehensive approach not only aims to support those in need of legal assistance but also highlights the importance of judicial outreach in ensuring that vulnerable populations can access their rights effectively and efficiently during the initiative period.
