Get to know the language and types of art with the 'Family Bag'!

The 'Family Bag' project invites families to explore art through creative ideas and activities that engage both children and adults.

The 'Family Bag' project is designed to encourage family engagement with art by providing daily creative ideas throughout March. Participants are invited to share their artistic works via email, with selected authors receiving a children's book as a prize. Each day will feature educational and creative activities that cover various topics related to museums, artists, and art history, fostering creativity and learning in a playful manner.

In collaboration with the Latvian National Museum of Art, the 'Family Bag' aims to enrich children's understanding of art through tactile experiences and interactive tasks. Activities will include exploring museum architecture, engaging with different forms of art, and celebrating notable birthdays associated with the art field. This initiative not only provides a platform for children to showcase their talents but also emphasizes the importance of expressing emotions through art.

By participating in this project, families will gain foundational knowledge about art language and its various types, thereby promoting a deeper appreciation for creativity and artistic expression. The project's focus on play and learning is intended to make art more accessible and enjoyable for young audiences, encouraging them to actively explore and connect with the artistic world around them.
