UP Police SI Exam Begins Today, Conducted at 1090 Centers in Two Shifts
The Uttar Pradesh Police Sub-Inspector recruitment exam has commenced today across 1,090 centers in two shifts.
The Uttar Pradesh Police Sub-Inspector (Darogha) recruitment examination started today and will be conducted in two shifts over the next couple of days. The test, organized by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), is set to take place on March 14 and 15, with the first shift beginning at 10 AM and ending at 12 PM, followed by a second shift from 3 PM to 5 PM. This extensive recruitment drive aims to fill up vacancies for sub-inspector positions across the state.
Due to the high number of candidates expected to attend the examination, stringent security measures have been implemented around the examination centers located in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Notably, the UPPRPB has decided to provide an additional 5 minutes to candidates during the exam to facilitate a smoother testing process. In order to maintain integrity and transparency during the examination, a command center has been established in Lucknow which is monitoring CCTV footage from all exam centers in real-time.
The rigorous preparations and security arrangements underscore the importance of this recruitment process for the Uttar Pradesh police force, especially in addressing public safety and crime reduction in the state. This initiative not only emphasizes the government's commitment to improving law enforcement but also serves as a critical opportunity for participants aiming to serve in such a role. The successful execution of the exam could have long-term implications for the state's security landscape and the trust citizens have in their police force.
