'Complete paper for 15,000, half for 8,000', solver gang active in UP SI exam

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has filed a second FIR against Telegram channels claiming to sell question papers for the Sub-Inspector recruitment exam, revealing the existence of a solver gang.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has taken decisive action against fraudsters who are allegedly selling question papers for the Sub-Inspector recruitment examination. The Board lodged a second FIR at the Hussainganj Police Station in Lucknow, targeting specific Telegram channels that offer the entire question paper for 15,000 INR and half of it for 8,000 INR. The fraudulent schemes are designed to attract candidates by offering discounts, such as 50% off and allowing half payment post-exam, indicating an organized attempt to exploit aspiring officers.

In response to the complaints from candidates and the growing concerns over examination integrity, the police and Special Task Force (STF) have launched operations in multiple districts to track down these scammers. The UPPRPB is taking the allegations of paper leaks seriously, as highlighted by the rapid filing of the second FIR in as many days. The latest FIR points to a Telegram channel named 'UP SI Exam paper LEAAK', which allegedly promised to provide question papers for 25,000 INR, showcasing a troubling trend of examination malpractice.

This crackdown follows earlier cases registered against other Telegram channels, including 'UP SI POLICE 2026' and 'Result Panel Pvt TM', all reportedly engaged in similar illicit activities. Authorities are now scouring digital footprints to identify the operators of these fraudulent channels, aiming to dismantle the networks behind this examination fraud. The integrity of recruitment examinations in Uttar Pradesh is under scrutiny, and stringent measures are being implemented to safeguard the process, ensuring that honest candidates have a fair opportunity to succeed.
