The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is conducting sub-inspector recruitment exams on March 14 and 15, but the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has denied claims that candidates can travel for free by showing their admit cards.
The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is set to hold recruitment exams for sub-inspectors across the state of Uttar Pradesh on March 14 and 15. However, social media has been rife with claims that candidates can travel free of charge on state transport buses by displaying their admit cards. In response, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has issued a clarification stating that there is no directive from the headquarters allowing such arrangements for candidates.
Furthermore, the transport corporation has instructed all bus drivers and conductors to be vigilant, emphasizing that no such program has been authorized for free travel of examinees. This clarification aims to curb misinformation related to the recruitment exams, ensuring that candidates are aware of the actual regulations surrounding their travel during the examination days.
In addition to this travel clarification, candidates who have made errors in entering their Aadhaar numbers on their application forms must arrive at the examination center two and a half hours earlier for verification. To maintain integrity during the exams, the recruitment board has implemented strict measures including bans on items such as watches, jewelry, and digital pens within examination halls, reinforcing their commitment to preventing cheating and ensuring a smooth examination process for all participants.
