An animal adoption fair is scheduled for Saturday, starting at 4:30 PM at Tia Nair Park in Cuiabá. The event will showcase various dogs and cats, both adults and puppies, all of which have been vaccinated, dewormed, and neutered. The local government has emphasized responsible pet ownership, ensuring that any adopted puppies will receive necessary neutering once they reach the appropriate age.

The municipal government has reported that between June and December 2025, 76 animals from the municipal kennel were adopted, with September being the peak month, witnessing 27 adoptions. This high level of community engagement highlights a growing awareness and commitment to animal welfare in the area, supported by municipal efforts to encourage adoption.
