Kitten adoption campaign takes place in Aracaju this Saturday
A responsible kitten adoption campaign will be held in Aracaju, Brazil, on Saturday, featuring about 20 cats available for adoption.
On Saturday, a responsible animal adoption campaign is set to take place in Aracaju, Brazil, specifically at Shopping Jardins from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Organized by local animal welfare advocates, the event aims to find homes for approximately 20 cats, ranging from kittens to adult felines, all of which have been rescued from vulnerable situations and are well cared for, including being dewormed.
The event stipulates that interested adopters must be over 18, present an official photo ID, prove their residence, and sign a responsibility agreement. As an incentive for adopting, participants will receive a small gift and a free veterinary consultation. This initiative not only prioritizes animal welfare but also encourages responsible pet ownership among the community.
The campaign is conducted in partnership with the NGO Bastet, which specializes in providing shelter for vulnerable animals. During the event, Bastet will also accept donations of cat food, further supporting their mission to care for and protect felines in need. This adoption drive highlights the community's role in combating animal homelessness and promotes the welfare of stray cats in the area.
