GET Audiovisual: school in Jardim Botânico invests in digital production to engage students
The GET Audiovisual space in the Municipal School Camilo Castelo Branco in Rio de Janeiro aims to enhance student engagement through digital and audiovisual production.
The municipal government of Rio de Janeiro has inaugurated a new educational space called GET Audiovisual, located within the Municipal School Camilo Castelo Branco in the Jardim Botânico neighborhood. This initiative is part of a broader effort to integrate digital tools and audiovisual production into the city’s public education system, aiming to provide students with modern resources that enhance their learning experience and stimulate creativity.
The GET Audiovisual encompasses over 400 square meters tailored for creative and experimental projects in the audiovisual domain. This innovative facility offers more than ten different environments dedicated to content production and technological experimentation. It includes recording studios, a control room, creative spaces, and areas for digital creation and editing, all designed to equip students with essential skills in the digital age.
Collaboration with the Roberto Marinho Foundation has been pivotal in developing this project, particularly in creating pedagogical references and integrating audiovisual resources into educational activities. The initiative not only reflects the city’s investment in modernizing education but also aims to foster student engagement and prepare them for future challenges in a technology-driven world.
