The Hip-hop Gerais Exhibition has announced the opening of registrations for its second phase, which includes a Cultural Management and Production Immersion program aimed at hip-hop artists and producers in Teófilo Otoni, Brazil. This initiative is designed to recognize and strengthen the local hip-hop scene through free training opportunities for solo artists, groups, and collectives involved in various aspects of the movement.
The training course spans 60 hours and is organized into six modules, each lasting 12 hours. Participants will learn about vital topics such as project development, business planning, fundraising mechanisms, project management, event production, and communication strategies for cultural groups. This educational effort is part of a broader commitment to enhancing the skills and knowledge of local artists, thus empowering them to thrive in the cultural sector.
In addition to the Cultural Management and Production Immersion, the program will also feature independent artistic workshops focusing on graffiti as a social technology, movement through the body, and rap music.
