Urban Music Festival announces five days of training and RAP shows in Northern Fluminense
The first edition of the PAR Festival will take place from April 14 to 18 in Campos dos Goytacazes and São João da Barra, featuring training sessions and RAP performances.
The PAR Festival, short for 'Para Além das Rimas', will hold its inaugural edition from April 14 to 18 in the Northern Fluminense region of Brazil, specifically in the cities of Campos dos Goytacazes and São João da Barra. This free event aims to celebrate urban music, focusing particularly on RAP, while offering a series of training sessions, artistic performances, and business networking opportunities for emerging artists. The festival has been made possible through the Aldir Blanc National Policy, which supports cultural initiatives across Brazil.
The event will feature a diverse program spread over five days, emphasizing the professional development of young artists in the RAP genre and its variations. Activities will be segmented into three main themes: Cultural Production on the first day in Campos, Musical Production on the second day in São João da Barra, and Publicity and Distribution on the third day back in Campos. Each segment will include both in-person and online components, making the festival accessible to a wider audience with varied levels of engagement.
Following the training sessions, on April 17 and 18, the festival will continue in Campos dos Goytacazes with a combination of lectures, business rounds featuring industry professionals, and artistic showcases. This structure not only nurtures the skills and careers of participants in the music industry but also fosters connections that could lead to future collaborations and advancements within the local cultural landscape.
