During a press conference in Radikiai, the head of the Kaunas Fire and Rescue Service, Vidas Barauskas, assured reporters that there were no casualties reported due to the flood. He noted that residents had proactively evacuated, thereby avoiding any danger to their lives. The flooding has also been reported in nearby areas, including Jonavos district, but similar precautionary evacuations have kept residents safe.
