Seoul City University Lifelong Education Institute Launches Executive Course on AI, Industry and Taxation
Seoul City University's Lifelong Education Institute has announced the launch of an executive program that integrates AI with business management and taxation strategies.
Seoul City University's Lifelong Education Institute, guided by Director Song Heon-jae, has partnered with the Maeil Business Newspaper to introduce a premier executive education program known as the 'i-Tax Executive Course (AMP).' The course is designed to address the complexities enterprises face in taxation strategies and management innovation due to rapid advancements in AI and changes in the industrial landscape. The program, themed 'Innovation meets Taxation β A New Growth Equation for AI Era CEOs,' promises a unique combination of tax expertise and business insights in a rapidly evolving economic environment.
This initiative comes at a time when governments worldwide are reforming tax systems and regulations to enhance industrial competitiveness and financial stability amidst a transition in global economic order. Business leaders are called to navigate not only management strategies but also taxation policies and tax risk management. The 'i-Tax Executive Course' thus aims to equip CEOs and senior executives with both the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive under these new challenges by leveraging the resources of Seoul City Universityβs top-tier tax education facilities and the global business insights from Maeil Business Newspaper.
Scheduled to run from March 26 to July 2, 2026, the course will take place every Thursday evening at the university's 100th Anniversary Memorial Hall. The program is expected to accommodate around 40 participants, including CEOs, senior corporate executives, and professionals, with a course fee of 8 million won. Applicants will receive numerous benefits, including a certificate from the university president, one-on-one professional consulting in taxation, networking opportunities, access to Maeil Business Newspaper's latest educational content, along with discounts for various events and publications, thus enhancing both their learning experience and professional networks.
