Sejong University’s Future Education Institute has announced the successful completion of the 'AI Culture Expert' course, part of the Seoul RISE initiative aimed at enhancing adults' skills and employment opportunities. This program is a significant part of the 'Seoul Lifelong Education Advancement' project and focuses on practical vocational training, fostering a collaborative relationship between academic institutions and industry stakeholders, thereby producing tangible results in workforce skills.

The 'AI Culture Expert' course is designed to help adult learners quickly acquire practical skills in new industrial sectors that are evolving due to digital transformation and the proliferation of generative AI. Sejong University leverages its specialized educational resources in K-culture to connect with industry demands and offers re-skilling and up-skilling programs in areas such as dance, webtoons & animation, food & beverage, and fashion, thereby continually enhancing adult learners' lifelong capabilities.

In this course, a partnership with the AI webtoon solution company ToonSquare facilitated the implementation of a work-linked 'AI Webtoon Expert Course'. This collaboration exemplifies the core objective of the Seoul RISE initiative to build practical lifelong vocational education models based on university-industry-community linkages. The program enables learners to utilize commercial AI webtoon production tools directly within the curriculum, providing them with hands-on training that mirrors real industry conditions, thereby preparing them for successful careers in the AI webtoon sector.
