According to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, over 3.2 million individuals have been displaced in Iran since the start of US-Israeli attacks on the country about two weeks ago. The report stressed that between 600,000 to one million Iranian families have temporarily fled their homes due to the ongoing violence, suggesting a troubling increase in humanitarian needs as hostilities continue. The UN refugee agency emphasized the continuous deterioration of the situation as more people are forced to seek safety.
