The lighthouse with the pizza dilemma hit the nail on the head at the award ceremony for the super young journalists

The winners of the Media Competition were celebrated in a special ceremony attended by local school students.

The event held at Politiken's headquarters celebrated the winners of the Media Competition, a contest that invites schoolchildren from 6th to 10th grades to create their own newspapers. This year's competition saw the participation of seven classes, showcasing their journalistic skills and creativity.

The theme of choice, as highlighted by philosopher Sรธren Kierkegaard, resonated throughout the event, emphasizing the significance of decision-making in journalism and life. The students not only received awards for their newspapers but also learned the value of expression and the responsibility that comes with it.

As the ceremony took place, it provided a platform for young minds to be appreciated, fostering a sense of community and encouraging future participation in media-related projects. This initiative reflects the efforts of JP/Politikens Hus in partnership with Danske Medier to engage and inspire the youth of Denmark in the field of journalism and media.
